Paradise Passage,
London: 3 mews houses
The site was an infill plot between late twentieth century houses and industrial buildings at the end of long gardens to an Eighteenth Century terrace of listed houses. The new houses were designed to reflect the traditional masonry construction and proportions of the historic terrace as a simpler mews type house, without resorting to pastiche design and reflecting the more industrial nature of the adjacent properties. Designed with the living rooms to the first floor with good natural light and views across the park, the houses featured a high level of internal specifications including bespoke joinery and underfloor heating. |
